Sponsorship & Donations
Equity One supports organizations that are experiencing economic hardship, working to find a cure, or that are helping communities to build brighter, healthier futures. The money we’ve raised in recent years has helped fund United Way of Broward, March of Dimes, ALS Run/ Walk, Hands on Miami, The Humane Society, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Toys for Tots and Susan G. Komen for the Cure ®. We will continue to lend financial support to these organizations to help them achieve their goals today and in years to come. |

Community Spirit Initiatives
Equity One recognizes the importance of encouraging its community members to become personally involved in the world around them. During 2011, our community involvement program, E-Motion, sponsored or supported a number of initiatives to benefit our local communities and the larger world of which we are a part. Employees participated in a walk to support an animal protection agency; a walk to support a foundation that provides health awareness programs for mothers and babies; a blood drive; a book drive to benefit a local literacy program; a breast cancer awareness collection; a holiday collection for the homeless; and a holiday toy drive. Our goal for future years is to continue to promote participation in such events so that we are able to further nurture our neighboring communities while continuing to foster a sense of unity within our own company. |
